Extra! Extra! Extra! Fellow Super SvenPals/Super Tooners danced & jumped for joy when fellow Super Svengoolie/Sventoonie SvenPal/Super “Toon In With Me” Tooner Andy Finkle spotted an “easter egg” bonus in Douglas McCarthy’s classic mammoth Warner Bros. cartoon masterpiece parody of “Casablanca;” “Carrotblanca’ (1995) during Toony & Bill’s August 26 “Fan-tastic Friday” big broadcast edition of “Toon In With Me,” with a mention of Sven/Rich Koz’s home area of “Berwyn” on the luggage tag! Andy spotted this on his DVR recording of “Toon In With Me!” After seeing the classic mammoth Warner Bros. cartoon masterpiece of “Carrotblanca” (1995) multiple times throughout the years, I looked at the copy on my Warner Bros. deluxe DVD edition of Michael Curtiz’s classic mammoth Warner Bros. wartime drama masterpiece, “Casablanca” (1942) and to quote the old saying- the “proof was in the pudding!” The “Berwyn” reference was there!
Congratulations to Andy on spotting the “Berwyn” reference from “Carrotblanca” (1995) from Toony & Bill’s Aug. 26 edition of “Toon In With Me: Fan-tastic Friday!” Very awesome, neat & cool!
