The legendary and iconic classic mammoth thriller-mystery-fantasy feature film masterpiece host will present his big broadcast of “The Uninvited” (1944) this Sat., July 22 at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central on Me-TV.

The classic mammoth 1944 Paramount* mystery-thriller masterpiece production was directed by veteran feature film and TV director Lewis Allen.  One of Allen’s other classic mammoth feature film masterpiece productions throughout his directorial career include his classic mammoth Paramount* film noir masterpiece production of “Chicago Deadline” (1949) with Alan Ladd, Donna Reed, June Havoc, Irene Hervey, Arthur Kennedy and Gavin Muir; the classic mammoth Columbia Pictures biopic dramatization masterpiece on the life and career of silent screen acting legend Rudolph Valentino, “Valentino” (1951) with Anthony Dexter, Eleanor Parker, Richard Carlson (later of the classic mammoth 1954 Universal–Jack Arnold creature-monster masterpiece, “Creature from the Black Lagoon” fame) and the classic mammoth United Artists film noir-drama masterpiece production of “Suddenly” (1954) with the legendary Frank Sinatra, Nancy Gates, Sterling Hayden, James Gleason and Paul Frees.

Charles Brackett later co-wrote the screenplay for Billy Wilder’s classic mammoth critically-acclaimed Paramount drama masterpiece featuring Gloria Swanson, William Holden, Erich von Stroheim, Jack Webb (of “Dragnet” fame), Nancy Olson and cameos by Hedda Hopper, Buster Keaton and Cecil B. DeMille; “Sunset Boulevard” (1950).

The screenplay for Allen’s classic mammoth Paramount* thriller-mystery masterpiece production adaptation of “The Uninvited” (1944) was written by veteran screenwriters Frank Partos and Dodie Smith.  Partos and Smith’s screenplay for “The Uninvited” was adapted from veteran author Dorothy Macardle‘s novel titled “Uneasy Freehold.”   Partos previously wrote the screenplay for Charles Barton and Louis J.
